12 Day Christmas deals for Vietnam Family holiday

Day 1: Hanoi Arrival

On arrival in Hanoi’s Noi Bai International Airport, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel in Hanoi down-town, check in and short rest after you will be given a free foot massage to get relaxed after a long flight, latter, you will be taken on a Rickshaw tour through the Old Quarter, latter, have an stroll around the Hoan Kiem Lake and pay a visit to historic Ngoc Son Temple that is set like a lonely island on the middle of the lake.

Day 2: Halong Bay Cruise (B/L/D)

After breakfast we depart to Halong Bay from where you’ll be enjoying a scenic cruising through the amazing Bay. You’ll be visiting ‘’Thien Cung Cave”, known as the cave of Heavenly Palace, after enjoy kayaking around floating villages, Lunch is served on board, free afternoon to admire the view, back to Wharf and transfer to Hanoi for an overnight stay

Day 3: Excursion to Duong Lam ancient village(B/L/-)

After breakfast, your private transfer takes you on a day tour to  visit Duong Lam village where two of Vietnam’s kings, Phung Hung (761-802) and Ngo Quyen (896-944) were born. Enjoy special Vietnamese lunch prepared by the host. Continue to visit Mia Pagoda – built in 15th century and admire 287 statues of all sizes before drives back to your hotel in Hanoi. On the way, if you’re interested, stop to visit Tay Phuong pagoda dates back to 8th century, the best example of old typical pagodas in the North of Vietnam, being special with 18 ancient Arhan statues and Van Phuc silk village, known as the its best silk in Vietnam , learn about silk making process and do shopping finest silk products in Van Phuc village. End trip around 5pm. Overnight in Hanoi

Day 4: Excursion to Duong Lam ancient village(B/L/-)

Enjoy a guided tour visiting Hanoi’s must see attractions and visit: Ho Chi Minh mausoleum and its museum, one pillar pagoda, Quan Thanh pagoda. In the afternoon. Latter in the afternoon you will be transferred to the airport to take a flight to Hue. Arrive and transfer to your boutique style hotel

Day 5: A day visiting historic Hue (B/L/-)

Start a day with a energetic breakfast in your hotel. Our tour guide will be waiting to pick you up at the lobby of the hotel to takes you on a boat trip through the renowned perfume river where a visit to Thien Mu pagoda is arranged, next, enjoy a visit to famous Khai Dinh tomb dating back to the 18th century.

Continue the day with a visit to conical hat making village in the countryside, this visit allow you to visit Nha Vuon  (garden house), In the afternoon, your guide lead you to visit historic Imperial Citadel of Hue, this is considered as a part of your trip that cant be missed, spend time to enjoy the imperial’s many edifice and the fortifications on a fully guided tour, if time permits, you will be given another visit to Dong Ba market. Overnight stay in Hue

Day 6: A scenic drive to Hoi An (B/L/-)

Get ready for a picturesque drive along the beautiful stretch of coastline through the Hai Van Pass to reach to historic town of Hoi An. After check in, you will be taken on a guided tour visiting UNESCO World Heritage Site including: the Chinese Assembly Halls, the Japanese Covered Bridge , the Phuc Kien Pagoda and the Tan Ky House.  Then we will take boat trip on Thu Bon river to visit the Thanh Ha, the ceramic pottery village. Overnight stay in Hoi An

Day 7: Experience  local life at Tra Que village (B/-/-)

Experience half day living and working with the local people at the Tra Que vegetable village located at the countrysides of Hoi An, when in there you will have a chance to discover the daily life of the local farmers. This is very interesting as all the family members would like it to understand more of a local life.

Day 8: Flight to Ho Chi Minh city (B/-/-)

Today you will take a flight to Vietnam’s largest metropolis, the Ho Chi Minh city ( Saigon), arrive and welcome by our tour guide. transfer to your hotel and take a short rest before heading out on a guided tour visiting city;s must see attractions such as the Reunification Palace which was the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until end of the April of 1975, and some French colonial structures including the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Old Saigon Post Office as well as the War Remnants museum, the China Town, Thien Hau pagoda. Your day come to an end by visiting  the Ben Thanh market

Day 9: Cu Chi tunnels on a speed boat (B/-/-)

Start your day with a speedboat tour heading out to visit Vietnam’s famed Cu Chi Tunnels. The river cruise takes approximately one hour, the local tropical fruit with unlimited refreshments are served on board. Observe life along the riverbanks as your guide informs you about the people’s river-based livelihoods. Disembark at Cu Chi and follow your guide through the historic site, now a war memorial that features the impressive labyrinth of tunnels dug by Viet Cong guerrilla fighters during the Vietnam War (known in Vietnam as the American War). Tour sections of the 75-mile-long (121-km) complex, which proved key to military campaigns such as the Tet Offensive of 1968. You can even slip into one of the narrow passageways to imagine how the supply routes and communications, hospitals, and food and weapons caches were operated underground. After experiencing the tunnels, enjoy lunching on traditional Vietnamese fare at a riverside restaurant. Return to Ho Chi Minh City

Day 10 + 11: Phan Thiet, Mui Ne beach stay (B/-/-)

A scenic 220 km north of Ho Chi Minh City will takes you to the former fishing village that has been gained its popularity as one of the the well known destinations for the family vacation in Vietnam. Upon arrival you will transfer to your resort from where you will stay for next two night.

Day 12: Ho Chi Minh city departure (B/-/-)

Free day on your own until you will be transferred to the Tan Son Nhat Airport for the departure flight back home – end of the 12 Day Christmas Vacation in Vietnam
