Cambodia Classic tour packages

Day 1: Siem Reap

Welcome to Cambodia! On arriving Siem Reap, you will be welcomed by our local tour guide who will help you check in the hotel. In the afternoon, you will be lead to the local markets and practice your haggling skills. There you can try a lot of cheap and yummy street foods then turn back to the hotel, getting some rest and relaxing before your Angkor visit tomorrow.

Day 2: Siem Reap – Angkor

On the second day of the trip, you will be guided through the mighty Angkor complex where you can take nice photos of these thousand-year-old temples build under the Khmer Empire. These beauties were known to represent the cosmic world and were set in perfect balance, symmetry and composition. Let your mind be blown as you roam around the complex with your leader. Don’t even think about missing the sunset. The ruins are scattered over an area of some 160 square kilometres, but the main cluster of temples is close to Siem Reap, so you’ll have plenty of time to get to grips with the larger-than-life Angkor Wat, the Bayon and the jungle-covered Ta Prohm.

Day 3: Siem Reap

On the next day of the trip, you will be free to experience Siem Reap or sign in a Flight of the Gibbon zip-line course, which will have you soaring like an eagle over the rainforest (and perhaps getting that ticker started again, if Angkor Wat made it stops).

Day 4: Kompong Cham

This day, we will continue our great trip by jumping on a bus and heading to Kompong Cham as a local. This town used to be an important trading hub in the area. There you will have opportunities to communicate with the locals. Then you will be led to the 11th-century Wat Nokor. It is really interesting to hire a bike to explore the rural island of Koh Paen, linked to Kompong Cham by a fancy bamboo bridge to have a closer look at some of Cambodia’s cottage industries.

Day 5: Phnom Penh

Today you will get on a bus and move to the capital city of Phnom Penh. Then you can head out to the Choeung Ek Memorial, and the infamous Killing Fields where a stupa made of some 8,000 human skulls lies, then learning the dark legacy of the Khmer Rouge. Visit the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda to learn about brighter parts of Cambodian history. Next you will check out the National Museum, take a cyclo tour of the city’s key sites, or visit the pretty art-deco Psar Thmei aka Central Market (it’s pretty AND pretty art-deco).

Day 7: Sihanoukville

Say good bye to friendly Chambok village, we will take a private bus to Sihanoukville which is named after the Cambodian royal family. In Sihanoukville, indulge yourself on loads of unspoiled beaches and welcoming folks.

Day 8: Sihanoukville

On the second day in Sihanoukville, you will have a plenty of interesting things to do, which are sailing a boat bound for one of the nearby islands, relaxing under swaying palms trees and enjoying a great barbeque. Otherwise, you can make a trip to Ream National Park where you can harmonize with mighty mangrove forest and adorable wild animals.

Day 9: Phnom Penh

This day visitors will get on a local bus to turn back to Phnom Penh, spending the last night in Cambodia before moving on to Viet-nom-nom. There you can take an optional traditional massage at the Seeing Hands Massage Centre run by blind masseurs.

Your trip comes to an end today and you can leave your accommodation at any time.
